Project presentation on WGC in Melbourne

Project team members had honour to present Geothermal mapping at the World geothermal congress in Melbourne, Australia. Presentation was followed by discussion about ground source heat pump exploatation and scientific reserach. Drilling works and borehole heat exchanger installation works are sucessfully finished on the location of Technical programme High school in Požega. Measurements are expected in 3 weeks period.  

Drilling works in Knin are finished

Drilling works were successfully finished on 17. february. Also, BHE (borehole heat exchanger) was also mounted in the ground without big problems. At least two weeks needs to pass before thermal response test is conducted.

Zadar workshop finished successfully

Invitation to Zadar workshop

The second workshop within IPA project “Research and the promotion of use of shallow geothermal potential in Croatia” will be held in Zadar. Location of the workshop will be at the Technical high school Zadar, street Nikola Tesla 9c. The date of event is 05. february 2015. with the begining at 09.15h.   Invitation to the workshop

Vocational school “Kralja Zvonimira” from Knin became one of the project associates. Its location will be used for drilling and conducting the TRT. Subsequently, heat pump will also be installed. Drilling is expected to start at the begining of february.

Gospić measurements successfully finished

On 5th December, at the location of Technical high school in Gospić, measurements were successfully stopped and TRT devices were transferred to FMENA. Despite the bad weather measurements passed with no complications.  

Drilling and optic cables installation were successfully finished at the location of Institute of agriculture and tourism in Poreč. Measurements are expected to begin in january 2015.
